Women’s Ministry

This ministry promotes fellowship, growth and service among the women of the church. First Baptist Women coming together at least monthly, at the Church or Outreach, for mutual encouragement, spiritual growth, fellowship and outreach beyond FBT walls. The Deaconess provides oversight.


What is the Aim of the Women’s Ministry (Vision)?

To connect the Women of First Baptist Tabernacle, build community and transform lives through intimate, caring, and transparent relationship that are built on the love of Christ.

What is SAG? 

This ministry promotes small group accountability for the women and friends of FBT. A Small group of 8-10 individuals coming together at least monthly, usually in each other’s homes, for mutual encouragement, spiritual growth, fellowship and outreach. The Women Ministry provides oversight.


What is the Aim of SAG (Vision)?

To connect people, build community and transform lives through intimate, caring, and transparent relationship that are built on the love of Christ.  


What is the Biblical Authority for SAG? - Acts 2:42-47

In this passage we find that the early church came together on a regular basis in each other’s homes, they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, fellowship and breaking bread, caring for one another and prayer. Because of their sincerity of heart, they had “all things in common”, and experience true unity.
